The 1st<\/sup> edition of Iran vessels and maritime 2018 is the only specialized Maritime event in Iran that brings together an international congregation of maritime companies and also its supporting industries gathered in the capital of TEHRAN, to showcase the latest developments in the maritime industry and to improve the current MARITIME technology and equipment to help maintain IRAN current status.<\/p>\n

By deletion of certain economic sanctions and banking restrictions, economic cooperation between Iran and the rest of the world had entered a new phase.<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s coastline along the Persian Gulf stretches for 2,700 km with major ports such as Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Imam, Anzali, Behshahr and Chahbahar.<\/p>\n

The Strait of Hormuz is the second international and world-renowned transportation, with the capacity of about 17-16.5 million barrels of crude oil daily, equivalent to 40 percent of the total oil transported by tanker vessels and nearly 25 percent of the world’s total supply.<\/p>\n

This strait and southern ports of Iran have become one of the most strategic areas in the world.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
